The C#/ASP.Net Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining complex, multi-tiered, scalable applications in windows and web environment following functional policies, procedures, and quality assurance best practices that embrace the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology within the IT group.


 

Essential Functions:



  • Develop, implement, maintain, and enhance n-tier Windows/Web applications to support insurance and financial services businesses using C#, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, AJAX, JQuery, Java Script, ASP, HTML, XML, SQL, SQL Server , IIS, and Windows

  • Ability to quickly and accurately perform troubleshooting and repair of software problems for windows and web developed applications.

  • Work with users to define requirements for systems development and enhancement.

  • Interest in enhancing skills and learning new technologies

Education/Experience:



  • At least 8-10 years of client/server and/or Internet/Web application development experience, with at least two of those years using the tools listed above.

  • At least 5 years of experience developing software using an SQL database, preferably MS SQL Server

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Well-organized, disciplined work habits, self motivated

  • Ability to manage and complete multiple, concurrent tasks

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

  • Additional desired qualifications are:



  • Project planning, estimating, and leadership skills
